Notes from the May 20th coalition meeting on network adequacy are now posted on the NC Get Covered website. A special thanks to NC Department of Insurance’s Deputy Commissioner, Ted Hamby, for sharing how our state will adopt the revised NAIC Model 74 as well as opportunities for consumer advocates, providers, and insurance carriers to provide their input.
Our next coalition meeting will be held on Friday, June 17 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the NC Hospital Association, located at 2400 Weston Parkway, Cary. Kate Woomer-Deters, Staff Attorney with the NC Justice Center’s Immigrant Rights Project, and Madison Hardee, Senior Attorney for Health Care Access at Legal Services of Southern Piedmont, will join us to discuss immigrant eligibility for Medicaid. Please mark your calendars!
Finally, Enroll America has partnered with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services to offer a peer learning webinar series on connecting consumers to coverage and care. Please click here to view the webinar schedule and/or to register.
