A wealth of information and best practices were shared by assister groups from across the state, including steps everyone is taking to promote the ACA Special Enrollment Period for people who lost their employer-based coverage due to the pandemic. - E-commit cards in English and Spanish from Legal Aid of North Carolina – Consumers who are in need of health insurance coverage can complete one of these cards electronically to have an assister contact them and walk them through the application process. Other options include calling North Carolina’s toll-free hotline at 1-855-733-3711 or visiting NCNavigator.net to schedule a free appointment with a local assister.
